Controller & Configuration Policy Update

We want to share an important update regarding our controller and configuration offering going forward.

We now focus on selling machines equipped with Siemens SINUMERIK 828 and Syntec 22 series controllers only. We no longer offer:

• The Syntec 220MA continuous 5-axis controller
• Any 5-axis related packages and rotary tables
• Any 4-axis preparation packages

We do sell 4th axis packages, as long as you order together with the machine. So we do not ship the 4th axis rotary table separately as of now.

Regional focus for the next 12 months:

• Europe and North America: We will focus on machines equipped with the Siemens SINUMERIK 828.
• Africa and Asia: In addition to the SINUMERIK 828, the Syntec 22MA controller remains available as an option.

The strategy behind this:

• With this policy, we can maintain selling the entire X Series free of any license application.
• It allows us to improve lead times for our best-selling X-Series.

Note:

This doesn't mean we will not bring 5-axis in the future. Instead we aim to develop a special line of milling machine with high accuracy and 5-axis in 2027. But under a different Series name, and it will be subject to dual-use license policy.
